Companion Animal Hospital was built in 1991 on the homestead site of the Baum family. The land had been used in the earlier part of the twentieth century as farmland and for the operation of a family floral business. At this time it is an ideal situation since it is located close to primary routes of travel (Interstate 640, Broadway Avenue and Tazewell Pike), while at the same time maintaining a quiet, traffic-free, woodsy, atmosphere.
Our offices are located off Tazewell Pike, 0.1 mile northeast of Broadway Avenue and 0.2 miles south of the Tazewell Pike-Jacksboro Pike (Smithwood) intersection. It may be accessed by using a small service road located between the Pilot Service Station (across from Hardee's) and the State Farm Insurance Agency. Just follow the road, across a small bridge, take a right at the fork and you will be there.
